Get to Know Edmarc
Established in 1978, Edmarc’s mission is to help seriously ill children stay comfortably home with their families whenever possible while receiving hospice and palliative care. Although the Edmarc team works hard to increase the number of children that have a healthy discharge from their program, the demand for their services continues to grow steadily averaging 70 children per day.
From Edmarc Executive Director, Deborah Stitzer-Brame, “We are thrilled to be teaming up with The Jimmye Laycock Foundation to help raise awareness for the need of children’s hospice and palliative care in Williamsburg and surrounding counties. The funds raised will provide the initial seed funding to help Edmarc expand services into Williamsburg.”
Edmarc would like everyone coming to bring an item from their wishlist.
