
Dan Capozzi, PGA
General Manager & Director of Golf
Dan joined the Williamsburg Golf Club Executive Team in 2011 under the leadership of Owner Dwight Schaubach. His industry experience has included positions at some of the finest private golf facilities on the east coast including, Diamond Creek Golf Club and Floridian National Golf Club. Dan’s knowledge and passion of the private golf club business has been an integral part in the development of Williamsburg Golf Club. He is a Class-A member of the PGA of America, a Member of the Middle Atlantic PGA Board of Directors and a Chairman of the Education Committee, as well as a member of the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the Campbell University PGA PGM Program and has a degree in Business. He is originally from Boston, MA and is an avid fan of Boston sports. Dan currently resides in Williamsburg.

Drew Newmarker, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Drew joined the Williamsburg Golf Club Team in 2018 after working at Blacksburg Country Club in Blacksburg, VA the previous three years. He is a graduate of the Methodist University PGA PGM program and has a degree in Business, and is currently working on receiving his MBA from Longwood University. Drew has been a Class A member of the PGA since 2015. Outside of golf, Drew likes to participate in other activities such as basketball, skiing, and hiking.
Ryan Keilholtz
PGA Associate Professional
Ryan Keilholtz has spent 2021 at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club in Virginia Beach as assistant golf professional. Taking over their junior golf program, Cavalier senior men’s golf association and working in tournament operations. Prior to the Cavalier he spent three years at the Princess Anne Country Club overseeing the outside operations, working junior golf events and running the PACC women’s golf association. Originally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, he can be seen cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers as well as the Pittsburgh Penguins on any given game day. In 2015, Ryan made the move west to Scottsdale, Arizona when he accepted a position with Desert Highlands Golf Club. Not only did 2015 give him the opportunity to work at one of the most exclusive golf courses in Arizona, but it would also turn out to be the year he would meet his wife, Ashley. Learning to play at the age of six and having more than ten years of professional golf industry experience, you can say golf has been at the top of his mind for quite some time. Ryan is currently working towards becoming a PGA Class A. Since December 2017, Ryan and Ashley have resided in Virginia Beach and are now expecting their first child in June of 2022.

Kenyon Twing
PGA Assistant Golf Professional
Kenyon joined Williamsburg Golf Club as PGA Assistant Golf Professional in 2021. When his father served in the United States Air Force, he was fortunate enough to travel at a young age. Kenyon first learned how to play golf living in England at the age of 6. He was able to play golf in Germany, England, Scotland, Spain, and France for the first 3 years of high school golf. His family then moved to the Williamsburg area in 2013 to finish out his senior year at Bruton High School. In 2014, Kenyon attended Methodist University in North Carolina studying Business Administration concentrating in Professional Golf Management. There he gained valuable work experience from internships working at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina, The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia, Willow Point Country Club in Alabama, and Robins Junior Golf Camps at Independence Golf Club. After graduating in 2018, Kenyon became a PGA professional in March 2019. Kenyon has a very keen eye for merchandising: working as Pinehurst Resort’s golf shop merchandiser for 4 years. He also enjoys teaching lessons and clinics. Kenyon enjoys bass fishing, sailing and his Jack Russell terrier, Dobby.
